Eden Pines has six glamping pods for two, each with its own private hot tub on its own terrace, on a four-and-a-half-acre working smallholding at Oxton Hill near Southwell. It is a 25-minute drive from Sherwood Pines, straight down the A614, which puts the trails within reach for a day out while the nights stay dark and quiet.
Forest Holidays runs cabins with hot tubs inside Sherwood Pines itself, and they are good, but they are family cabins in a busy forest. The park is adults only, so it suits couples looking for a quiet break rather than families with young children. If you want the forest by day and a couples-only hot tub with no neighbours by night, Eden Pines is the alternative. The park opens in December 2026 and you can register interest now.

Sherwood Forest and the Major Oak
The ancient oaks of the National Nature Reserve and the visitor centre at Edwinstowe are ten minutes from Sherwood Pines.
Rufford Abbey and Clumber Park
Rufford's lakeside abbey ruins are on the way from the park; Clumber Park's lake and lime avenue are fifteen minutes further north.
